A new challenge, on and off the court: Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza is proud to announce the launch of its Renewable Energy Community (CER), an innovative project that unites sport, local community, and sustainability.
The Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza CER was presented this afternoon in Trento as part of the Sports Festival organized by RCS. Elisabetta Curti, President of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, Luca Tosini, President of CER Sun Son, and Michele Granelli, CEO of Voltuna, an ESCo of the Gas Sales Energia Group, took the stage.
Sport is energy, and now it’s also becoming clean energy thanks to Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza. This project demonstrates that a volleyball team can be not only a symbol of passion and results, but also a driver of positive change for the community.
CER was founded with the goal of producing and sharing clean energy through photovoltaic systems installed in various provinces, starting with the Piacenza area. It also aims to reduce the energy costs of the sports club and its participating community members. It also aims to share the environmental and economic benefits with local citizens, associations, parishes, businesses, and institutions. Last but not least, it aims to promote a sustainable culture linked to sport, a concrete example of social responsibility.
