The Super League season is getting into full swing for Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, which today officially kicked off the third week of preparation for the 2025-2026 championship with two training sessions.
The seven players on the first team roster—Robert Andringa (spiker), Alessandro Bovolenta (opposite hitter), Paolo Porro (setter), Dragan Travica (setter), Francesco Comparoni (middle blocker), Henri Emmanuel Leon (opposite hitter), and Joris Seddik (middle blocker)—have already been in the gym for these first two weeks of training. Last Friday, young Italian-American spiker Sebastiano Sani joined the team, and today libero Luca Loreti, a World Championship runner-up with the U21 national team, joins them.
The group, led by coach Dante Boninfante, is intensifying their technical and physical work, alternating weight room sessions, gym workouts, and technical ball work. After the first two weeks dedicated primarily to building athletic condition, the focus will gradually shift to technical and tactical aspects.
