With the conclusion of the Play Off Quarter Finals of SuperLega Credem Banca, the calendar valid for the Play Off 5th Place has been defined, which offers a pass to the next CEV Challenge Cup, the third European competition, as a prize.
The 4 teams eliminated from the Scudetto Quarter Finals (Rana Verona, Allianz Milano, Valsa Group Modena and Cisterna Volley) and the two teams that finished in 9th and 10th place at the end of the Regular Season (Sonepar Padova and Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina) will participate in the Play Off 5th Place.
The first three teams by ranking at the end of the Regular Season (Verona, Milano and Modena) will play three of the five matches – the Play Offs are divided into a one-way round robin – in front of the home crowd, while the other three teams will be engaged away for three matches out of five.
The first day of the Play Off 5° Place will see Rana Verona and Allianz Milano compete on Saturday 5th April, on the field at 20:00. At 18:00 on Sunday 6th April, instead, Valsa Group Modena awaits Sonepar Padova, while at 19:00 Cisterna Volley will host Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina at home.
PLAY OFF 5° PLACE – THE FORMULA
The four teams eliminated from the Play Off Scudetto Quarter Finals and the 9th and 10th ranked teams at the end of the Regular Season play a one-way round robin that includes 5 matches for each team. The 4 best teams play the Semifinals and Final in a single match at the home of the best ranked team at the end of the tournament.
Group Dates: April 6, 12, 19, 23, and 26, 2025.
Semi-final Dates: May 3, 2025.
Final: May 10, 2025.
