At the end of the joint training session, assistant coach Francesco Racaniello reviewed the performance: “There are several positives,” he stated, “and this test confirms that we’re working well. Some of the situations we’ve been working hard on during the week have been seen on the pitch, a sign that the team is assimilating the instructions. It’s a process of constant improvement: on Wednesday we’ll face Aurispa Lecce, and it will be another opportunity to assess the progress made and continue improving.”
Racaniello then emphasized the importance of the growth of the group, which includes several new faces: “Many of the players are new, so there are many situations to evaluate. But the group is growing well: it’s made up of guys who want to achieve a common goal. Beyond the technical and tactical aspects, it’s a team that works hard, has fun, and gets along well. Above all, it’s a real group.”
The match against Campobasso also marked the first time this season at PalaCapurso, with the warmth of the Gradinata 3M always a prominent presence in the stands: “They are spectacular,” Racaniello concluded, “fundamental and an integral part of the team. In difficult moments, they always manage to give us the right boost to get the result.”
