After the first few weeks of preparation, it’s time for Volley Tricolore’s season debut, with the first preseason test match scheduled for Sunday, September 14th. Their opponent for the day will be Stadium Mirandola, a team newly promoted to Serie A3 Credem Banca after winning the Serie B championship last season.
Coach Tommaso Zagni’s team has worked intensely in recent weeks, alternating weight training sessions, technical work, and six-on-six play to help the new arrivals settle in and consolidate team spirit. The match against Mirandola will therefore represent a significant test to evaluate the team’s initial progress ahead of the start of the championship.
The match will be played at the “Marco Simoncelli” Sports Hall in Mirandola, with kick-off at 6:00 PM.
Nicholas Sighinolfi commented on the buildup to the match:
“Training is going very well, we’re pushing hard. Of course, there are still many aspects of volleyball to iron out, but one thing that has never been lacking is attitude: I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the boys’ attitude. We’re working hard, and now we’ll see if the results come.”
