A satisfied smile, but with his feet firmly planted on the ground. Simone Rigirozzo, the young middle blocker for Domotek Volley, was a key player in the clear home victory against Napoli, a 3-0 victory that revitalizes the Amaranth team. A few days before the match against Terni, scheduled for Umbria, the athlete takes stock.
“We needed this redemption,” Rigirozzo begins, speaking about the match against the Neapolitans. “It’s a match that brings joy to the team, but also a reason to give more and continue along this path. We’re working well; that’s what we need. These results are slowly starting to show, thanks in part to the hard training with Coach Antonio Polimeni.”
His personal performance has been an important part of the team’s success. His growth, in a season that has seen him rapidly gain ground, is proceeding rapidly. “It’s a very positive growth path because it wasn’t easy to reach the starting lineup after such a short time,” Simone explains. “I’m also proud of what I’m doing because I put passion and determination into it, and that’s what you need during training and during the championship itself.”
