With ten days to go until the start of the Credem Banca Serie A2 championship, Rinascita Volley Lagonegro continues its preparations with focus and a generally positive feeling.
After the team’s official presentation last Sunday at the BHotel in Lagonegro, which sparked enthusiasm among the crowd and marked the symbolic start of the new season, the group led by coach Waldo Kantor has resumed training in the gym with a busy and focused program, designed to be ready for the season opener on Sunday, October 19th in Prata di Pordenone.
This week, the staff has scheduled daily afternoon training sessions, with technique sessions and real-life game situations, while on Friday the team will train in the morning. The Argentine coach is focusing on team mechanics, working on synchronization, dribbling timing, and precision in team movements. In addition to the usual physical strengthening, essential for optimally facing the season, each drill is designed to reproduce match situations, with the goal of strengthening inter-departmental understanding and increasing transition speed. Special attention is paid to coordination between blocking and defense, as well as managing break points, essential elements for maintaining consistency and clarity in key moments of matches.
