The season in A3 ended with the triplete of Romeo Sorrento and now we start with the youth finals branded Del Monte.
In Fano 23-25 May 2025 the under 14 boys of the mister Fiorentino and Aiello are ready to face the Final 8 of Del Monte Boy League. The youngsters of the president Ruggiero are fresh from the first place in the elimination phase played in Perugia having overcome Sir (qualified as second), Sarroch and Cagliari.
These are the words, on the eve of the Final8, of the technical manager of the youth sector Paolo Gargiulo:
“It is a historic result and has a very important value for the group. After qualifying for the final eight, the boys returned to the gym very determined and with a great desire to improve. The season has been a crescendo, in every match of the elimination phase the boys always put something extra with grit and determination. The tournament now is very difficult, there are the eight strongest teams in Italy and this is our first experience, but we will do everything to fight hard. Our strength is compactness, all the athletes feel part of something important. They work hard in the gym, but at the same time we tell them that they have to have fun to fully experience this beautiful experience”.
