The renewal of the partnership between Modena Volley and Ingegneria Emiliana was presented this morning. Company CEO Rocco Maggi and yellow-blue middle blocker Giovanni Sanguinetti were present, who reviewed the situation at the yellow-blue club and discussed Sunday’s away match (4:00 PM) in Cuneo.

“We dropped two points in Cisterna,” Sanguinetti said, “but fortunately, the schedule is tight, so we can and must already think about the next match. Sunday’s game shows that nothing can be taken for granted; we must continue to work hard and try not to suffer the same lapses we had in the last match. Cuneo? We’ll be playing on a tough pitch; they’re a team with a lot of passion and have finally returned to the Super League after a long time. It certainly won’t be easy; I expect a match in which they’ll try to cause problems for us, and we’ll have to be good at responding and maintaining our level of play from start to finish. We’re a physical but young team; we need to stay calm and work with confidence every day. Transfer market? I’m talking to the club about a renewal, but for now, only the present matters, and then we’ll see what happens.”
