The month of May was used by Volley Savigliano to say goodbye to six players who will no longer be part of the first team roster for the 2025/26 sports season.

A period of time that was deemed necessary to pay due homage to six guys who, some for a year, some for over a decade, some for almost a quarter of a century, contributed to writing the brightest pages in the history of the club, and in particular of the team branded Monge-Gerbaudo.

They are Daniele Gallo, Damiano Calcagno, Simone Brugiafreddo, Kristian Turkaj, Marco Spagnol and Andrea Orlando Boscardini.

A thank you also comes from the president Guido Rosso: “After the 2024/25 season, we, members of the board, together with the new Sports Director Dutto, gathered around a table to plan the new year, which we hope will give us greater satisfaction than the previous one. We realized that the time had come, after four years of honorable participation in the Credem Banca A3 Series, to start a new cycle. Sometimes in life, to do so, you are forced to put aside feelings and affection to look at purely sporting choices. No longer seeing guys like Daniele Gallo in the gym, who helped create our history from Serie C to Serie A3 as a protagonist, as well as Damiano Calcagno, who I remember from the mini-volleyball days and who has always worn the white and blue colors with honor, will be very strange. With them, Simone, Kristian, Marco and Andrea, with whom we have experienced good times.
