Brunella Scapini confirmed as assistant manager for Romeo Sorrento in Serie A2.

Brunella is extremely satisfied with a fantastic season this year, culminating in a treble (A3 Italian Cup, A3 Super Cup, and promotion to Serie A2). What was your best experience on the bench, especially in matches like the Coppa Italia semifinal in Longarone, the Super Cup in Naples, and the playoff game 5 against Belluno?

I don’t want to be repetitive, as everyone has already said it, but yes, it was truly a fantastic, unexpected, and exciting season! There were so many emotions experienced throughout the season, both on and off the bench. Perhaps the best was the Coppa Italia semifinal in Longarone, on that Tulo wall that made us explode with joy, melting the knot in my stomach!

A behind-the-scenes story, an anecdote that comes to mind from your away games and that makes you smile when you think about it?

A trip to Longarone for the Coppa Italia: we celebrate the victory by having dinner together, then return to the hotel and realize we’d left one of the boys there due to a misunderstanding. We laughed a lot, but he a little less!
