From the middle to position 4. After completing the middle blockers, Volley Savigliano is pleased to announce the final addition to the spikers’ department for the upcoming Credem Banca Serie A3 season.
Andrea Schiro will be wearing the blue and whites. Born in 2001 in Thiene, a town in the Veneto region near Vicenza, he took his first steps in volleyball in the Vicenza area, playing for Volley Schio’s youth team. His breakthrough came in 2019 with Padova, a team with which he also enjoyed a taste of Serie A1 in 2021/22. He then played in Serie A2 in Motta di Livenza and the last two years in Serie A3 in Belluno, where he was a key player last season. Standing 203 centimeters tall, he has scored 525 points in the three national leagues, spread across four seasons. His list of honors also includes a Boy League title, won with Tonazzo Padova in 2015, and two international titles with the youth team of the Italian national team: the Under 21 World Cup (in 2021) and the Under 22 European Championship (in 2022).
