Tuesday, August 19th marked the second day of preseason training camp for Conad Volley Tricolore, who spent an intense day combining physical activity, exploring the local area, and meeting with the local community.
The morning began with a weights and floor training session at the fitness center of the Onda della Pietra Wellness Village in Castelnovo ne’ Monti. In addition to the weights room, the players also had access to the pool, where the staff organized targeted training sessions aimed at active recovery and injury prevention. This combination allowed the team to work in a comprehensive and balanced manner, making the most of the center’s facilities.
In the afternoon, the team was scheduled to undertake the traditional hike to the summit of Pietra di Bismantova. Unfortunately, weather conditions prevented the excursion. Despite this, the players were able to experience a moment of great cultural value at the Laudato Sì Center and the Hermitage, where guides from the Gruppo Storico Melograno and the CAI Bismantova shared anecdotes, stories, and curiosities related to the Stone and the mountain area, giving the team an opportunity to reflect and connect with nature and the roots of the area.
