This morning, at the Badaracco Assicurazioni headquarters, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza officially introduced two new players to the first team: Joris Seddik and Francesco Comparoni, both middle blockers.
It was also an opportunity to announce that Italiana Assicurazioni and Badaracco Assicurazioni will be supporting Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza next season as well.
Joris Seddik, a 212cm French middle blocker born in 2006, will wear the red and white for the next three seasons. He spent his last season at Montpellier, where he won a French Super Cup. This is his first season outside of France. He signed his first professional contract for the 2023-2024 season with Montpellier, where he remained last season. In early 2023, he made his first selections for the French national team.
Francesco Comparoni, born in Parma in 2001, stands 204 cm tall and will play for Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza for the next three seasons. He was named best middle blocker at the 2022 European Under-22 Championship, and is one of the most exciting prospects in the Italian volleyball scene.
