From Perugia to Tuscany. Libero Alessandro Piccinelli, a new player for Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena, will travel not too many kilometers. This is a new important market move for the Tuscan team that is preparing to play the next A2 championship.

Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena has announced the confirmations of opposite hitter Gabriele Nelli, spiker Luigi Randazzo, middle blocker Victorio Ceban and the purchase of middle blocker Marco Bragatto, who arrives from Cantù. Piccinelli is therefore the fifth player in the roster that will be led by coach Francesco Petrella.

Piccinelli, born in 1997, has just finished eight seasons in the Superleague, including six played in Perugia, one in Cisterna and one in Milan. With Sir, the libero, who also boasts appearances for the Italian national team, has won everything there was to win: national trophies, Champions League, Club World Cup.

Now Piccinelli has accepted a new experience, wearing the Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena jersey. “It’s a great opportunity,” he said. “I met the Tuscan club, they presented me with the project and I was convinced. They made me feel at the center of the project and this was a very important aspect for me. I’m very happy and I put myself at your complete disposal, with my experience and my enthusiasm, with a great desire to get involved with the intent of reaching important goals.”
