Despite his young age, Simon Torwie already boasts a rather complex international experience. Born in Palma de Mallorca (Spain), where his parents worked at the time and where he also grew up as a volleyball player, he moved to Germany at the age of sixteen, remaining in Frankfurt until 2020 before flying to the USA, attending Long Beach State University, which in the past launched players such as Ctvirtlik, Lee and Defalco, and playing in the NCAA championship for four years.
