On the sidelines of the friendly match against Modica, President Pino Carbone met with the press to share his vision and reaffirm the club’s commitment to the city of Catania and Southern Italian volleyball.
“I feel honored to represent Catania in a sport that isn’t a mass sport, but rather thrives on passion and familiarity. We’re here not to use Catania as a showcase or a springboard, but because we believe in Catania, in its potential, its people, and its sporting tradition.”
The president recalled how the new management has inherited a complex legacy, clarifying the reasons behind the corporate reorganization.
“We acquired the club’s shares to save the league and ensure continuity. We’re not content with Serie A2: we want to build, step by step, a reality that will bring Catania back to the top division of national volleyball. And we want to do it here, with the contribution and participation of all our friends in Catania.”
