Atlantide Pallavolo Brescia welcomes a new addition to the spikers’ department: Mattia Vagnini joins the team, bringing with him a steady growth path, gained through significant youth experience and national championships.
Born in 2007, 193 cm (6’4″) from Urbino, Vagnini grew up playing volleyball at Polisportiva Bottega in Vallefoglia. He took his first steps in volleyball, playing several seasons in both the youth and senior leagues. In the 2022-2023 season, he wore the Polisportiva Bottega jersey in Serie C, alongside his work with the Lube Civitanova Under-17 team, one of the most prestigious clubs in the national scene.
The following year, he continued his journey in Serie C with Montesi Volley Pesaro, simultaneously continuing his experience in the Lube Civitanova youth sector. His technical skills and potential then opened the doors to Modena Volley, where he spent the last two seasons playing in the Serie B championship and the Under 19 championship. This high-level experience allowed him to interact daily with a professional environment and also to approach the world of the Super League through some training sessions with the first team.
