Gioiella Prisma Taranto enthusiastically welcomes Marco Pierotti, a spiker from Fano born in 1996, 193 cm tall, with grit and talent, qualities that combined with a big heart and love for the shirts he has worn, form an important profile that immediately struck the top management of the red and blue team. Next season Marco Pierotti will therefore wear the colors of the City of the Two Seas.
After having stood out in Potenza Picena first and in Bergamo, where he played two important seasons in Serie A2 in the early years of the club’s rise, Pierotti continued his journey in the Superleague wearing the shirts of Modena and Vibo Valentia, then returning to Bergamo in 2020. His list of achievements includes the victory of an Italian Super Cup, an Italian Cup and two A2 Super Cups. With the national team he won gold at the Mediterranean Games and the Universiade, demonstrating great reliability both in attack and reception.
In recent years he has continued to gain experience and technical solidity in Porto Viro, Siena and, last season, in the top French league in Cannes.
“I am very happy and enthusiastic to defend the colors of Prisma Taranto next season – Pierotti said – A club that over the years has proven capable of remaining consistently at a high level, so I feel it is the right place to grow further. I thank the club for the opportunity that has been given to me. I can’t wait to get started and meet my teammates and fans, to whom I send a warm greeting!”.
