Terni Volley Academy

Strong emotions and a packed Pala Terni (over a thousand people) for the first official outing of the Terni Volley Academy, which, on September 25th, presented the team in the arena that will be the Dragons’ home for their Serie A Credem Banca championship home games. It was a true spectacle, coordinated and staged by the company’s Marketing and Events Manager, Elisa Druzina, with a Serie A-caliber staff. From the live performance of the Shivers to the performance of the Urbandance dance school that welcomed the Pala Terni crowd, to the emotional moment that saw sports legend Andrea Zorzi take the stage, all enhanced by the voice of Dario Marcolin (assisted by vocalist Yuri Urbani with a DJ set by Stefano Pettirossi), who masterfully led the arena as the players arrived, greeted with a standing ovation. A particularly touching moment was when the veteran athletes of Maxim, the last team from Terni to have played in Serie A2, were honored by the young Dragons. It was a highly symbolic handover, further underscored by the words of champion Andrea Zorzi: “This is a particularly significant moment, especially for the younger ones, because it demonstrates that sport can be a vehicle for unity and connection between generations.”
