Alva Inox 2 Emme Service Porto Viro faces its third match in seven days. On Sunday, December 7th, in the 4:00 PM kickoff, the black-and-fuchsia team will host Essence Hotels Fano at the Palasport on Via XXV Aprile for the ninth matchday of the Serie A2 Credem Banca Regular Season. It’s a heated match, not only for standings reasons: Porto Viro, third-to-last with two points less than fourth-to-last Fano, will have Daniele Moretti, their former coach until less than a month ago, on the visiting bench.
The Polesine team – currently led by Matteo Bologna, Moretti’s former assistant – will build on the excellent performances they showed against big names Aversa and Prata. On Wednesday, in Friuli, all it took was a pinch of malice to secure a positive result on a very difficult pitch: now there are two consecutive home matches against opponents of equal rank (next Sunday, Alva Inox 2 Emme Service will host Taranto, currently second to last with the same number of points as the black-fuchsia), opportunities that must be exploited to the fullest to move away from the relegation zone and try to get closer to the play-off positions.
