A season to frame, emotions that bring to mind the glories of Reggio volleyball and a future that looks even brighter. Fortunato Buonsanti, director in charge of referees of Domotek Volley, enthusiastically looks back on the year that has just ended, with memories, anecdotes and prospects for the next championship.
“It was a beautiful season, almost unimaginable if we think about where we started two years ago”, Buonsanti begins. “I wasn’t part of the club yet, but I followed the games in Serie B. This year, however, was something exceptional. I remembered the times of the old Ionica Grumi, when the Palazzetto di Botteghelle was always full. Seeing the crowd grow game after game, until reaching its peak in the game on the last Tuesday… was a unique emotion. Those people I hadn’t seen for years, that passion, is the basis from which we must start again.”
The manager is convinced that, with this solidity, Domotek can aspire to even better results: “We know that the Reggio fans are carried away by the results, but the foundations are all there. I am sure that next year we will be competitive and improve our position.”
