Lithuanian Edvinas Vaskelis will be the Gialloblu opposite for the 25-26 season.
Eddy, born in 1996, arrives in Sarroch after four seasons in the Italian A3 (San Donà, Lecce, Lagonegro, Gioia del Colle were his previous stops), in which he scored 1949 points in 93 games played. A haul that has always seen him at the top of the rankings of the most prolific bombers in the category, a solid and experienced attacker, he will have the task of making the Gialloblu fans quickly forget the latest vicissitudes.
“The availability on the market of a striker like Vaskelis, at such an advanced stage of the market, was a truly important opportunity for us” – says ds Lai. “We are talking about one of the most incisive attackers in the category, a valuable offensive resource, capable of making an impact in every game, an experienced professional. He will be fundamental for the ambitions of our project.”
Vaskelis with his first words as a Gialloblu player: “I can say that I didn’t expect to arrive in Sarroch at this point in the season, but I’m very happy to be able to fight again to win the championship.
