Rana Verona will close out the third day of the Regular Season with tomorrow evening’s match at 8:30 PM against Allianz Milano. Coach Fabio Soli spoke at a press conference on the eve of the match at the Pala AGSM AIM.
Here are his words: “The Grottazzolina match went smoothly for two reasons: the opponent didn’t put in a strong performance, and we used our offense as a weapon to overcome some small problems. The result is good, but we need to work hard for the upcoming matches and focus on the details to improve our volleyball. We’ll be facing a strong team coached by a great coach, with an opposite hitter with a rare technical completeness for this position. There will be many pitfalls, both tactical and technical. A lot of time has passed since last year’s playoffs. Differences between the teams are already visible even a few months later, so it’s difficult to make comparisons. It will be a tough match because they’ll test our limits, which we know we need to work on. We know what we can do to challenge them.”
