Verona Volley enriches its roster with an international talent: Darlan Ferreira Souza will wear the Verona jersey for the next two SuperLega seasons. Born in 2002, opposite role, Darlan is one of the brightest prospects on the world scene and arrives for the first time in Europe, choosing Rana Verona and the Italian championship as a fundamental stage for his growth.
These are Darlan Souza’s first words as a Rana Verona player: “I am very happy and excited to start this new adventure with Rana Verona. For me it is a big step: my first club outside of Brazil, my first championship in Italy. I have heard so much about the SuperLega, the very high level and the incredible atmosphere of the arenas. I can’t wait to meet my new teammates, work with the staff and give my best for the team and the fans. It will be a stimulating challenge and I will do my best to allow the team to reach its goals”.
