A valuable and promising addition to Negrini CTE Acqui Terme for the 2026-27 season: wing spiker Andrea Malavasi has arrived. Born in Modena in 2005, he grew up in the prestigious Modena Volley youth system, making his debut at a young age in the premier Superleague three seasons ago. His career then took off in Serie A2, first with the historic Cuneo Volley team, where he won the championship and achieved promotion, and then with Sharks Sorrento.

Recalling his career, Malavasi says: “My journey began in the youth teams of Modena Volley, a very important club that allowed me to grow both technically and personally. It was in Modena that I had the wonderful opportunity to break into the world of the first team and experience my first and unforgettable experience in the Superleague, an achievement that is undoubtedly one of the greatest satisfactions of my young career. I then moved to Cuneo in Serie A2, where I was fortunate enough to win the championship and achieve promotion. It was a wonderful and intense season, which taught me a lot and made me deeply understand what it means to work hard every day to achieve an important team goal.”
