Allianz Milano will host Polish team Norwid Czestochowa tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18th, at 8:30 PM, aiming to reach the semifinals of the Challenge Cup. Reggers and his teammates will only need to win two sets to secure qualification, building on their resounding 0-3 victory last week in Poland.
On the other side of the net, the Polish team, led by Luciano De Cecco, Indra, and former player Ebadipour, will attempt to impose their pace on the Allianz Cloud, hoping to take the match to the Golden Set.
Coach Piazza’s men are called upon to react quickly after their defeat in the final round of the championship against Rana Verona. If they secure a positive result, they will learn their opponent in the next round, which will be the match between Romanian team Zalau and Turkish team Altekma, the latter having only won a tie-break in the first leg.
