Allianz Milano will take to the court tomorrow, Tuesday, February 10th, at 8:30 PM, against Polish team Norwid Czestochowa, the first leg of the Challenge Cup quarterfinals.
Coach Piazza’s men will face some old acquaintances from the Credem Banca SuperLega on the other side of the net: first and foremost, setter Luciano De Cecco, who boasts numerous victories in the Italian championship with Perugia and Civitanova; former Milano player Milad Ebadipour; and coach Ljubomir Travica, who coached Piacenza at the end of last season.
Milan comes into this match after a league defeat at Valsa Group Modena on February 1st. This European match therefore presents a chance for Milan to bounce back, and with a victory, they can play for a spot in the next round at the Allianz Cloud on Wednesday, February 18th.
