Cisterna Volley returns to work after a weekend off, preparing for the final rush: three games remain until the end of the Regular Season, and on Sunday at the PalaSport on Via Delle Province, they face Cuneo (5:00 p.m.). A three-point win would mathematically secure survival (Grottazzolina, bottom of the table, is six points behind Cisterna and has three wins less). The team will resume training this afternoon, with a double session scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons only, followed by a double session on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
Filippo Lanza will be available again against Cuneo after two rounds of forced rest due to a cartilage problem in his big toe. “It was a problem I’d been having for a while, then it got worse and gave me no respite, to the point that I couldn’t even train. With the coach, the medical staff, and the club, we opted for a period of rest. The problem was resolved, and now I’m fine, I can work without any discomfort.
