A RAIN OF TROPHIES FOR DOMOTEK: HERE’S THE SCHEDULE, BEGINNING WITH AN AWAY MATCH AT PINETO
The history of Domotek Volley continues to write unforgettable pages: there was a flurry of enthusiasm for the club’s awards ceremony at the Volley Mercato in Bologna, where the club received applause from the entire Italian volleyball world, personally receiving the three titles it has won: the Coppa Italia Del Monte, the Supercoppa, and the celebratory platter for its promotion to Serie A2. They also received the “Costa-Anderlini” award for the best Coach of the Year, for their deus ex machina, Reggio Emilia coach Antonio Polimeni.
The trophies now number five for a truly incredible season, with the awarding of the trophy for Best Press Officer of the Championship to the Amaranto club’s press officer, journalist Giovanni Mafrici.
During the ceremony, the league matchups were officially announced thanks to the release of the schedules: The league season begins on October 18, 2026, with the first match of the season.
The first matchday is away, as was the case last season, against highly-rated Abba Pineto, winners of the Super Cup and the A2 Italian Cup. (Return match on January 10, 2027, at Palacalafiore.)
The second matchday is October 25 at Palacalafiore against Brescia (Return match on January 17, 2027); the third matchday is away on November 1 in Grottazzolina (Home match on January 24).
The fourth matchday (November 8-January 31) is Domotek Gioia del Colle;
The fifth matchday is Fano-Reggio Calabria (November 15-February 7);
The sixth matchday is Rinascita Lagonegro-Domotek (November 22-February 14);
Matchday seven is Reggio Calabria vs. Napoli (November 29-February 21);
Fifth matchday is Reggio Calabria vs. Reggio Emilia, a playoff for A2 last year (December 6-February 28);
Ninth matchday is Reggio Calabria vs. Ravenna (December 13-March 14);
Tenth matchday is Macerata vs. Reggio Calabria (December 20-March 21);
Eleventh matchday is the derby between Domotek Volley and Palmi (December 27-March 27).
Twelfth matchday is the rematch between Belluno and Domotek (January 3-April 3) and (January 6-April 11).
Thirteenth matchday is Domotek’s final matchday of the regular season against Porto Viro.
