After a few days of rest, the Azzurri return to training in Cavalese. A first group of athletes will train in Val di Fiemme starting tomorrow, Thursday, July 2nd, while those returning from the second week of the VNL, played in Ljubljana, will join the team starting Saturday, July 4th.
Five players from Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will take part in the training camp in Cavalese: middle blocker Francesco Comparoni from tomorrow, Thursday, July 2nd, middle blocker Gianluca Galassi from Friday, July 3rd, while opposite hitter Alessandro Bovolenta, libero Domenico Pace, and setter Paolo Porro will join the group on Saturday, July 4th.
Italy will play a friendly against Argentina on Sunday, July 5th at 6:00 PM at the BTS Arena in Trento.
The first group of 14 athletes will include Fabio Balaso, Simone Giannelli, and Yuri Romanò, who will begin their 2026 summer training with the national team.
