Cisterna Volley, having completed its final Regular Season match in Trento and finished the season in tenth place (the fifth-place playoffs will begin in April), has flown to the United Arab Emirates, destination Dubai (arrival scheduled for this evening at 11:50 PM, 8:50 PM CET).
Morato’s team will compete in the NAS Sports Tournament, scheduled to run until March 7th (this is Cisterna’s second participation in the event). The tournament, held at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, is part of a series that also includes other sports, from padel to cycling, fencing, basketball, and more.
Eight teams participate in the Volleyball Tournament, divided into two groups of four: the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals to compete for the title. The teams participating in the tournament have been given a special name for the occasion: Cisterna Volley will be called Min Investment.
