Consar Ravenna’s 2026/27 A2 Credem Banca championship begins on Sunday, October 18th at the Pala De Andrè against the mighty Yuasa Grottazzolina, featuring former players Guzzo, Mancini, and Cavuto. This is the Ravenna-based team’s fifth consecutive home debut. The schedule was released today in Bologna during the final Volley Mercato event, hosted by Rai journalist Maurizio Colantoni and featuring a musical interlude from guitarist Silvia Boschiero and the magic of illusionist Luca Bono. The first away game will be on October 25th in Porto Viro, featuring two more former players: coach Matteo Bologna and middle blocker Lorenzo Grottoli. Valentini’s team will then enjoy a schedule that features three of the four games at the Pala De Andrè against Lagonegro, Brescia, and Macerata, with the sole trip to Reggio Emilia. The first half of the season will feature a challenging final two-legged away game between the end of 2026 in Fano and the beginning of 2027 in Naples, and a home match in the championship’s only midweek round, on January 6th, against Palmi: three strong contenders for a top-flight championship.
The championship kicks off on October 18th, preceded by the Super Cup on Sunday the 11th, which will therefore be the season’s opening event for the first time. Abba Pineto and Consoli Sferc Brescia will compete for the match. The only break is scheduled for the weekend of March 5th and 7th, when the Del Monte Coppa Italia final will be played.
During the final Volley Mercato event, Legavolley’s new president, Claudio Durigon, was introduced, and Credem Banca’s deputy general manager, Maurizio Giglioli, made the three-year renewal of the championship sponsorship official.
