The long wait is over. In the evocative setting of the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, just outside Bologna, the 2026/27 Credem Banca Serie A2 schedule was officially unveiled, the final event of the traditional three-day Volleyball Transfer program organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A. Starting today, Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina’s new season finally has a clear path, complete with dates, opponents, and fixtures to mark in red.
The official debut is scheduled for Sunday, October 18th, when the team from the Marche region will take on the challenging Ravenna court. Ravenna, a team that played a key role last season, will immediately provide a high-level test for the new team led by coach Massimiliano Ortenzi. The home debut will arrive a week later, on October 25th, with a derby against a strong Fano side, a unique match that promises to be a real eye-catcher from the start. “We’re starting again in Serie A2,” coach Ortenzi commented, “a league we know well and know can be tough, every week and against every team. The level will be really high; Ravenna and Fano are two teams built to compete at the top, so it will be an interesting start because we’ll be testing ourselves at the highest level right away, although only time will reveal the true strengths of the teams on the pitch in such a long championship.”
