Volley Tricolore continues its commitment to continuity and confirms Fabio Fanuli as assistant coach of the first team for the 2026/2027 season.

The paths of the Granata club and the Apulian coach crossed six years ago, and this will be his sixth consecutive season in Reggio Emilia. A long journey, built day by day, has seen Fanuli become a key figure within the Granata project, significantly contributing to the growth of the first team and the development of the youth sector.

In addition to his work on the Serie A team’s coaching staff, Fanuli also serves as head of the youth sector at Volley Tricolore, closely monitoring the development of the youngest athletes and coordinating the Mo.Re Volley project, born from the collaboration between Volley Tricolore, Pieve Volley, and the Anderlini Volleyball School. This project, over the years, has allowed numerous local youth to embark on a structured technical and personal journey, ultimately leading to their first team appearances.

I’m thrilled to have been reappointed. Being able to continue my career in Reggio Emilia for the sixth consecutive year is a source of great pride for me. Over the years, we’ve built a relationship of mutual respect and trust with the club, the community, and the fans, founded on profound values that transcend professionalism. One of the aspects that makes me most proud is the work we’ve done with the youth sector. Thanks to the Mo.Re Volley project and the collaboration with Pieve Volley and Anderlini, we’ve been able to build a clear and structured development path for young athletes in the area, striving to instill not only technical skills, but also sporting and human values. Next season, some of our youth players will also be part of the first-team squad, an important sign that confirms the validity of the path we’ve undertaken. The recent results achieved by the youth sector, with victories in the regional championships and fifth place in the Junior League, are a tremendous source of satisfaction for everyone who works within the project every day. At the same time, we know we can’t rest on our laurels: our goal is to continue improving and look ahead with ambition.
