Volley Tricolore is restarting with one of the key figures in its coaching project. Tommaso Zagni will once again be the Granata’s head coach for the 2026/2027 season, which will mark the club’s return to the Credem Banca Serie A2 championship.
The confirmation of the coach represents a move marked by continuity and confidence, coming at the end of a journey that led the club to one of the most important seasons in its recent history. Under Zagni’s guidance, Volley Tricolore earned promotion to Serie A2 at the end of an exciting season, culminating in a victory in the playoff series against Domotek Reggio Calabria and further enhancing its achievements by reaching the finals of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia and Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A3.
The club has chosen to continue the work undertaken in recent years, retaining a coach who has led the team with skill, balance, and a focus on player development—values that have always been central to the Granata philosophy.
For Zagni, this will be a new challenge in an increasingly competitive and high-level league, but one he must face with the same determination that has characterized his journey so far.
“It’s a great satisfaction to be able to continue my journey with this club. My reappointment demonstrates that the work done in recent seasons has been appreciated not only from a technical standpoint, but also from a human perspective. For this reason, I would like to thank the management for their continued trust in me.
