The countdown has ended for the 2026 edition, the nineteenth ever, of the Trentino Volley BIG Camp. On Sunday, June 21st, the first day of summer, the first of six weekly sessions will kick off on Monte Bondone in Trento for the traditional yellow-and-blue club event dedicated to Beach, Indoor, and Green Volleyball (hence the acronym B.I.G.), organized thanks to the collaboration of the Municipality of Trento and the Trento Tourist Board.
The yellow-and-blue camp, which will continue until August 1st, has become a pleasant experience not only for the club on Via del Brennero, but also for the participants, their families, and the entire Trentino community. As per tradition, it is aimed at boys and girls aged 10 to 17 who want to spend their holidays immersed in nature. Attention to every detail and the well-being of all participants have always been hallmarks of the initiative, justifying its historically widespread appeal.
BIG Camp 2026 has already reached 1,121 registrations, with two of the six sessions sold out. Peak attendance will be in sessions 3 (July 5-11) and 6 (July 26-August 1), with over 210 participants per week. The event attracts young people from all over Italy (Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige, Umbria, Sardinia, and Veneto are the regions that bring the largest number of participants to Bondone), but it is also very popular abroad, as demonstrated by the registrations from all over the world: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Colombia, the United Arab Emirates, Estonia, France, Germany, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, San Marino, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the United States, Switzerland, Türkiye, and Ukraine.
