The first weekend dedicated exclusively to the Credem Banca Serie A3 postseason is now over, with the Promotion Playoff, Round of 16 Playoffs, and Playout rounds bringing Italian arenas to life.
Interestingly, the records and milestones achieved by Serie A3 players all come from the first leg of the playoffs: Michele Morelli, opposite hitter for EnergyTime Campobasso, scored his 500th point for the Spike Devils in the match against Belluno Volley.
The number 500 also connects with Francesco Barretta, a 2005-born spiker for Avimecc Modica, who scored his 500th point in Serie A3. The same points were scored by Daniele Mellano and Marinfranco Agrusti, opponents in the match between Aurispa DFV Lecce and Sarlux Sarroch.
