It was an emotional weekend in Credem Banca’s Serie A3 for the teams competing in the White and Blue Groups, with several players celebrating significant personal bests.
In the White Group, Massimiliano Matani (Sarlux Sarroch) made his 100th Serie A3 appearance: 35 with Casarano, 26 with Alessano, 23 with Modica, and, indeed, 16 with Sarroch. Also in the White Group, Riccardo Scaltriti (Conad Reggio Emilia) scored his 500th point in the division.
In the Blue Group, Lorenzo Grottoli of Aurispa DFV Lecce scored 100 blocks in Serie A3, while Francesco Prosperi Turri, libero of Green Volley Galatone, played his 100th Serie A3 match.
Daniele Buzzi, playing for Avimecc Modica, achieved 200 blocks in Serie A3, a milestone he reached this weekend.
