Daniele Moretti, from the Marche region, will be the new coach of Sarlux Sarroch for the upcoming Credem Banca Serie A3 championship.
Moretti, born in 1980, comes from a season in Serie A2 at Porto Viro and Fano. But it was at the helm of Volley Club San Donà that he developed his method and ability to leverage available resources. In three seasons (the first as assistant to Paolo Tofoli), he reached a playoff final and first place in the Regular Season, as well as reaching the Coppa Italia Final Four and the Supercoppa final. He managed, with extreme care and dedication, young groups of athletes who, from those seasons in Veneto, have since taken off.
These are his first words as a Gialloblu player:
“I chose Sarroch because I saw a serious environment and, above all, a club that strongly supported me from the start. For me, it was a natural choice, because our values, ideas, and vision coincide. It’s essential to have an environment where ideas can be applied on the field and shared. Here, I immediately found a willingness to discuss and a vision of volleyball that aligns with my own.
