Here’s another of the youngsters weaned by Coach Licchelli. Raised in the Casarano Volley youth sector, the Salento middle blocker, born in 2002, has built his career with significant experience in Serie B at Galatina, Ruffano, Bronte, and Casarano, earning promotion to Serie A3 with the latter club and reaching the semifinals of the Serie A2 playoffs in 2021. Agile and quick in lateral movements thanks to his blocking skills, he also possesses good explosiveness in standing jumps.
“The feelings for this new season,” says De Micheli, “open up positive prospects with such a strong roster built by the management. Of course, names alone aren’t enough to climb the standings, but the training sessions and the team cohesion we need to find as quickly as possible will optimize our performances. Then the extra man will be our fans, who we count on with a large and noisy attendance.”
