Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will begin its eighth consecutive SuperLega season on October 18th in Padua, facing Pallavolo Padova. Like last season, the red and whites will begin their campaign on the road, once again in Veneto. They’ll begin in Padua, where they finished the last Regular Season. Immediately following their league debut, the Emilian derby arrives at the PalabancaSport Modena on October 25th.
It’s certainly not the easiest start to the season for the red and whites, as in the first seven matchdays they’ll face Padua and Cisterna (away), Trento and Civitanova (also away), Modena, Verona, and Perugia at the PalabancaSport. The first half of the season will close at home against Tinet Prata of Pordenone.
After the trip to Padua, the red and white team will face Modena at the PalabancaSport and then two consecutive away games, the first in Cisterna and the second in Trento, which also coincides with the first midweek round of the season. Then, two home games against Verona and Perugia, before returning to Civitanova and then, for the eighth matchday, and the second midweek round, they will host Monza at the PalabancaSport. Two more consecutive away games, in Cuneo (December 6) and Milan, will follow, before closing out the first half of the season at the PalabancaSport against Prata.
