It was a day of celebration and recognition for Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria. The team, fresh from winning the Coppa and Supercoppa titles, and securing historic promotion to Serie A2, was welcomed to the Germaneto Regional Citadel by Calabria’s Sports Councilor, Eulalia Micheli.
An embrace between institutions and sport, to celebrate what is not just a civic achievement, but an achievement that propels the entire region onto the national volleyball scene.
“Domotek’s promotion to Serie A2,” the councilor proudly stated, “is not only a source of pride for the city of Reggio, but for all of Calabria. I’m happy to have them back here in the Citadel. It was something I had told them during the season I supervised, and so I’m happy to have welcomed them with this very important result: promotion to Serie A2, the Coppa, and the Supercoppa.” A great satisfaction for them, for the club team – whom I thank for the work done – for the group of kids, who are wonderful, and above all for Calabrian sport and for the entire region.”
