The top teams in the league face off once again.
Conad Reggio Emilia, fresh from the championship, and Domotek, the Cup champions, face off for the seventh time this season.
Yet another chess match between the two coaching staffs.
The match will not be played on neutral ground, but on the court of the team that won the most sets during the regular season, thus once again under the net in Reggio Emilia, at the PalaBigi.
The Serie A3 Super Cup will see the team from each group with the most points at the end of the second half of the Regular Season compete, along with the winner of the Serie A3 Italian Cup.

On paper, it’s a tough match at the PalaBigi for Coach Polimeni’s team, where the home team, Conad, has shown they have an edge. The fact remains that the seventh meeting of the season and overall will tip the balance in favor of one of the two teams. So far, the head-to-head matches have ended with three wins each. Martin Chevalier is 23 points shy of 400 for the season, and Nicholas Sighinolfi is four blocks shy of 400 for his career. On the other side, Domenico Laganà is 23 points shy of 500 for the season, and Enrico Lazzaretto is 11 points shy of 400.
The excellent Matteo Mancinelli will be missing, having retired from the field after just two points due to injury in Game 5 of the A2 playoff finals.
It’s important to remember that the Amaranto automatically qualified for the playoff semifinals, having been re-seeded as the top seed. On April 25th, they will play the first round of the semifinals in Valenza, away to Acqui Terme, their opponents from last season as well. The return match, with a possible Golden Set, will be on May 1st at the Palacalafiore.
