It’s not just a victory, it’s an emotional legacy. Coach Antonio Polimeni, coach of Domotek Volley, opens his eyes to the full extent of his triumph in the Coppa Italia Del Monte in Serie A3. His voice is still filled with the emotion he experienced on the court and in the stands of a facility, Belluno, transformed into a secular temple of volleyball.
At the airport, there’s a considerable number of fans, family, friends, enthusiasts, and more.
“A wonderful welcome and Reggio Calabria responding once again,” Polimeni begins. “These were high points for the entire city, for the entire community, for all the pride of Reggio. An extraordinary moment that we will all hold dear. And this is just the beginning.”

A beginning that has the flavor of legend. Domotek, trailing 2-0 in the final against the mighty Conad Reggio Emilia, turned things around by taking home the city’s first-ever national volleyball trophy.
“History is written by those who finish first; the others can only read it,” Polimeni proudly emphasized. “We have written a piece of history for Reggio Calabria. It’s indescribable because it’s our city’s first national volleyball trophy. We’re happy to have written our name in these memorable pages.”
