Last season, he scored 37 points (16 attacks, 15 blocks, and 6 aces). After just one year with Folgore, he has already become an integral part of the green-and-white family.
Leo, with your well-deserved relegation to Serie A2 and your 37 points this season (16 attacks, 15 blocks, and 6 aces) in memorable performances, including those against Santa Croce and the cup in Prata, President Ruggiero and Coach Esposito have entrusted you with the leadership of the A3 roster. Your emotions:
I’m thrilled to be part of this team again this year. Last year was a wonderful year, during which, in addition to contributing on several occasions, I had the opportunity to settle in and experience firsthand the reasons why we feel so good here at Folgore. I can only be happy and excited for the upcoming year and for the trust placed in me.
The level of the A3 championship rises year after year. What kind of championship do you expect and what are your goals?
It will be a tough championship, but full of excitement. The level has risen, and that means it will be even more exciting to take to the field every Sunday. My personal goals go hand in hand with those of the club; we want to stay at the top.
