In the first weekend of SuperLega Credem Banca matches of 2026, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and Itas Trentino performed well, winning their early matches in the 14th round of the Regular Season.
The Emilians, playing in front of their home crowd at PalaBancaSport, defeated MA Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo 3-0, closing in on fourth-place Valsa Group Modena and overtaking Cucine Lube Civitanova, who lost in Trento in four sets. Mandiraci, Galassi, and Bovolenta dominated Piacenza, scoring a combined 36 points. Cuneo’s only player, Sedlacek, scored double figures. Also of note was French spiker Alexandre Strehlau’s SuperLega Credem Banca debut, scoring his first Italian point for Cuneo.
