Sir Susa Scai Perugia defeated a resolute Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza in four sets at the Pala Barton Energy. Leading by two sets thanks to a strong showing in key moments, the Block Devils stalled in the third set and had to fight hard in the fourth set to quell the heart of the Cuban-style Emilians, against a monumental Simon, who scored 19 goals and led the visiting team on the court. The home team’s top scorer was Ben Tara (19), supported by Plotnytskyi (18) and Semeniuk (13). Bovolenta (14) and Gutierrez (13) also proved very dangerous on the red and white front.
