There are paths that proceed quickly, and others that, before starting again, force a pause.
Francesco Guastamacchia arrives in Sarroch after a difficult season, marked by a niggling injury that could have slowed his enthusiasm and ambitions. That didn’t happen. Because behind the heights, blocks, and attacks of the Venetian center, there is above all a young man who has never stopped believing in daily work.
Raised in the Padua youth system, and matured between Belluno, San Donà, and Palmi, Guastamacchia brings to the Gialloblù a wealth of experience built step by step, without shortcuts. A journey made of sacrifice, patience, and a constant desire to improve.
In Sarroch, he will reunite with coach Moretti, with whom he had already shared an important stage in his development at San Donà. A bond that represents much more than just mutual acquaintance: it is the opportunity to resume a journey left unfinished and try to push himself even further.
For Francesco, this will be his first experience in Sardinia. A new land to explore, a new jersey to wear, and a new challenge to face with the enthusiasm of someone who feels he still has a lot to prove.
