The numbers, however impressive, are almost overshadowed by the attitude, spirit of sacrifice, and dedication of an athlete who has left his mark on Belluno Volley: Nicolò Hoffer.

The libero, originally from Soave, and the white-and-blue club are parting ways at the end of a journey lived with intensity, professionalism, and a strong sense of belonging. Arriving in the shadow of the Dolomites to compete in a league he had never played before, Serie A3 Credem Banca, Hoffer distinguished himself not only for his technical ability as a second line player, but also for the human depth he displayed day after day.

Always available, balanced, and generous, he quickly became part of the locker room dynamics, becoming one of the team’s key figures. And it was precisely in the most delicate moments of the season that he provided perhaps the most significant testimony of his character.

His lightning-fast recovery from the calf injury sustained in the first leg of the playoff quarterfinals in Mantua is emblematic. A physical issue threatened to end his season at the net prematurely. Instead, with determination and maximum commitment to his daily gym work, Hoffer managed to accelerate his recovery, returning to the court in the first leg of the semifinals in San Giustino. This attitude perfectly captures the type of athlete and person we’ve come to know during the 2025-2026 season.

Belluno Volley therefore bids Nicolò Hoffer a fond farewell, thanking him for his contribution on and off the court. It wishes him all the best for the rest of his career and his personal journey.
